Alice Faye Doss of Appomattox, Virginia
March 1, 1948 - July 21, 2023

Alice Faye Mann Doss, 75, of Appomattox, died Friday, July 21, 2023.  She was the wife of the late Abbitt Wayne Doss.

Born in Appomattox, March 1, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Alice Elizabeth Womack Mann and Louis Wiley Mann.  Faye was a member of Bethel Bible Church and loved her church family.  Faye never met a stranger.  One of her greatest joys was giving to others.  Faye always had a smile and joke for everyone.

She is survived by two brothers, Earl Mann and J.D. Mann; sister-in-law, Ann Mann; and numerous special nieces and nephews that she loved as her own and was a mother to all.

She was preceded in death by five brothers, Wiley, Jerry, Irvin, Willie and Lee Mann; and three sisters, Nora Mae Mann, Norma Kaye Newman and Bonnie Gaye Maxwell.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at Robinson Funeral Home with Pastor Orville Gregory, Sr. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at Robinson Funeral Home and other times at her residence.
