Alice Holland Campbell

Alice Holland Campbell, 90, of Roanoke County, died Monday, January 20, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She had many names, Miss Alice, Nanny, and was affectionately called "My Sweet Angel Baby" by her late husband, Dud. She was also known as Nanny Alice by the numerous children she cared for over the years.Preceded in death by her loving husband, Walter "Dud" Campbell, Sr, son, Walter Campbell, Jr., parents, Willard and Minnie Holland, and many brothers, and sisters. Surviving are her son Brian Campbell and wife, Amy, grandchildren, Jason Campbell, and wife Susan, Jessica Campbell-Rowland, and husband Chris, great grandchildren, Ashlee and Destiny, great great grandchild, Lexi and brother, Raye Holland, and wife Nancy, many neices and nephews, and a special granddog Whiskey River.
