Alice Marie Dickerson Pendleton

Alice Marie Dickerson Pendleton, age 89, of Roanoke County passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.  She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Bernard “Penny” Pendleton and her daughter, Patricia “Pat” Pendleton Larmet with her husband Andre.  Alice was the eldest daughter of Walter and Virginia Adkins Dickerson, both deceased, of Wayne, WV.  She was also predeceased by her sisters Helen Raye Elkins, Yvonne Talbert and CloAnn Mathis along with her infant brother Bobby Gene.

Alice is also survived by two grandsons, Jonathan Bloodworth and his wife Amanda of Orlando, FL and Byron Bloodworth and his wife, Elise of Woodstock, GA along with four great grandchildren, Taylor, Lily, Colton and Boone.  In addition, Alice has two surviving brothers Larry and Walter Dickerson along with her sister Delva Joyce Stewart with two uncles George and Asbury Adkins and a whole host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Alice enjoyed Gospel and Country music along with her beautiful crocheting and drawing.

Visitation will be held at Lotz Funeral Home, Sunday, November 26th from 6:30pm-8:30pm followed by her service in the Chapel at Lotz, Monday, November 27th at 10:00am.
