Alicia Marie Maxcy

Alicia Marie Maxcy, 63, of Ridgeway, Virginia passed away July 24, 2024. She was born May 19, 1961, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, to the late Olen Fritz Maxcy and Betty Jean Almond Maxcy.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Maxcy.Alicia graduated from West Memphis High School, West Memphis, Arkansas. She loved to crochet and craft, she especially enjoyed crocheting afghans. Alicia was known for always having a clean house. “She loved as hard as she fought”, and she had a beautiful spirit. Alicia tried to help everyone and enjoyed making people happy.She is survived by daughter, Robin Rochelle Almond Somers (Lincoln); sons, David Lee Underwood (Kristy), James L. Underwood (Stacey), and Andrew Jon Michael Almond; sister-in-law, Theresa Maxcy; brother, Joseph Maxcy; grandchildren, Kerry Marie Somers, Felicity Ann Underwood, James Gage Underwood, Alexandra Jane Hardin, Megan Giller, Caleb Lee Underwood, Emma Marie Almond, and Wesley Alexander Almond.All services are private and will be held at a later date.
