Allean A. Lilly

Allean A. Lilly, 86, of Vinton, Virginia, passed away peacefully Friday, September 6, 2024, at South Roanoke Nursing Home. She was born July 23, 1938, in Virginia to the late Dewey C. Martin and Helen Bartley Martin. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Everette Sowash; second husband, Sampson D. Lilly; sons, PeeWee Sowash, Wayne Sowash; brother, George Martin; and sisters, Betty Woods, and Frances Frazier.

Allean was a member of Thrasher Memorial and attended Three Oakes Fellowship.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Moles; her son, Donnie Sowash (Sherri); stepson, Dewey Lilly; stepdaughter, Lydia Grant; four grandchildren, Cory Moles, Caleb Moles, Summer Sowash, Donnie Sowash, Jr.; two brothers, Bill Martin, and Howard Martin; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Friday, September 13, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Blue Ridge Funeral Home in Roanoke, Virginia. The visitation will be one hour prior to the service. A burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
