Allen Warner Whitmire, 95, of Salem, VA, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026. Born in Frederick Co., near Winchester, on Saturday, September 27, 1930, to the late Perry & Mildred Whitmire. He is survived by his brothers, Denny and Terry Whitmire. Allen attended Handly High School and Nashville Auto Diesel School. He was a Marine Veteran of the Korean War. His work years were divided between Kroger Co and Roanoke Auto Spring Works. He was an Elder at New Hope Presbyterian Church. Please check back soon for service details.
