Althea Gill Brown

Mrs. Althea Gill Brown, 82, of Martinsville, VA transitioned on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at her home.
She was born October 18, 1938 to the late Fred and Sarah Mitchell Gill.
He was retired from the Henry County Public School system and was a member of First Baptist Church-East Martinsville.
Those left to cherish he memory include 3 daughters, Valerie Joyce Brown King, Pamela Brown Webster and Veronica Kaye Morrison all of Martinsville, VA; one son Robert Lamont Brown, of Martinsville, VA; one sister, Shirley Beasley, of Richmond, VA; two brothers, Charles Gill, of Richmond, VA and Leroy Gill, of Martinsville, VA; 10 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
A private Celebration of life service will be held Monday, November 9, 2020 at 12:00 noon at Hines Funeral Services Chapel. Burial will follow in Carver Memorial Gardens. A floating visitation will be held Sunday, November 8, 2020 at the chapel with the family being present from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. All services will be in compliance with C D C guidelines.
