Alton W. Richards “Butch”, of Roanoke, passed away on January 12, 2023. He was predeceased by his parents, Lewis and Molly Richards and by his 5 siblings.He is survived by his former wife, Brenda S. Richards; sons, John M, Richards (Treva), Robert L. Richards (Rebecca); grandchildren, John L. Richards, Taylor S. Richards, Autumn L. Richards, Nathan M. Richards; three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m., January 16, 2023 at Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Juan Barr officiating.
