Alvin Blake Chrismon

Alvin Blake Chrismon, age 61 of Danville, Virginia went to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday, January 2, 2025, at SOVAH Health in Danville. Mr. Chrismon was born April 14, 1963, in Danville, Virginia to late Leathia Vaughan Chrismon Moore and the late Charlie Green Chrismon.

He was a member of Holland Road Baptist Church. He lived in the Holland Rd community his entire life. Alvin was an avid farmer, and he worked as a mechanic in the auto industry. Alvin was well known for his homemade BBQ and sauce.

He is survived by two sons, Cody Blake Chrismon and David Michael Lyle; one granddaughter, Sadie Lyle; two sisters Helen Snead Yarboro and Patsy Ragsdale (Terry), two brothers, Patrick Snead and Ray Chrismon; and his fiancée, Brenda Moore Warren.

In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by three brothers, Gilbert’ Chris’ Chrismon, Larry Chrismon and Louie Chrismon.

A graveside service will be held on January 7, 2025, at 12:00pm, at Danville Memorial Gardens. Officiating the service is Reverend Delton Agnor.
