Amanda Dawn Fretwell

Amanda Dawn Fretwell, 32, of Collinsville passed away on August 30, 2022.  She was born in Martinsville, Va on August 22, 1990 and is the daughter of Bernard Dwight Fretwell and Nita Lewis Fretwell. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bernard and Betty Fretwell and Arthur and Ada Lewis.
In addition to her parents, Amanda is survived by her two sons, Cameron Holloway and Logan Reeves.  She is also survived by her fiancé Chase Reeves and her sisters; Amy Marie Coleman and Holly Dawn Fretwell; brother-in-law, Travis Cooley.  She also had five nieces; Kayla Coleman, Ragean Cooley, Kendall Cooley, Carlie Cooley, and Brooke Coleman and nephew, Devin Coleman who all loved their “Gaga” very much.  She also had a stress relieving cat, Marley. 
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 6th, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the Bassett Funeral Service Chapel.  A graveside service will be held after the visitation at Blackberry Baptist Church Cemetery at 11:30 AM with Pastor Kirk Montgomery officiating.  Burial will follow the graveside service.  The family requests donations can be made to the Henry County SPCA at 132 Joseph Martin Highway, Martinsville 24112.
