Amelia Pritchett Niblett

Amelia Pritchett Niblett, 53, of Martinsville, Virginia, transitioned to her heavenly home Thursday, May 29, 2025. She was born October 2, 1971, in Martinsville, Virginia, to Patricia Moore Pritchett and the late Marvin L. Pritchett.

Amelia was a faithful member of Mount Zion Holiness Church and a graduate of Martinsville High School. She also found joy in the simple things in life and enjoyed spending her free time watching reels on her phone, watching true crime shows, Chinese shows, and watching ghost stories. She was a joyful soul filled with fun and laughter and her sweet spirit will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish her memory are daughter, Shaquisia Hairston (Melissa); sons, Marquise Pritchett, Montel Carter, Devante, Sloan, and Jaquise Sloan; sisters, Robin R. Pritchett and Sandra Tinsley; brothers, Willie L. Pritchett and Marvin A. Pritchett; granchildren, Kingston Knox, Elias Pritchett, and Melody Williams.

The funeral will be held Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Laverne Hagwood officiating. A visitation will be held Wednesday June 11, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 12:30-1:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel.
