Amy Virginia Dalton

AMY VIRGINIA DALTON, 53, of the Little Creek community of Dublin, VA, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at her home. She was born September 8, 1971 in Tennessee, the daughter of  Kelly Lee & the late Hilda Gay Woodyard Dalton.

Amy recently gave her life to the Lord and was saved by his grace. She was a lover of anything to do with water, whether it was swimming, special lake days, going to the beach or just a day at the creek.

She loved all music and enjoyed going to concerts.  She enjoyed coloring.  She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

She loved cats, dogs, ducks and butterflies and pretty much all animals. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Hilda Gay Woodyard Dalton, her sister, Lisa Woodyard and her grandparents, Everett (“Plenny”) & Nellie Dalton and Robert & Lelia Woodyard.

Left to cherish her memory are her father, Kelly Lee Dalton; her sister, Angie Dalton; her niece, April & Bryce Alley; her nephew, Kelly Dalton & Haley King;  her special pet companions, “Oscar” and “Hillbilly;” and several aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 27, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, White Gate, with Bro. David Butcher officiating. Burial will follow in the Hunter’s Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 P.M. until service time, 2:00 P.M.
