Andrew "Andy" Wayne Overstreet

Andrew “Andy” Overstreet passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025 at the age of 44 years old. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Cheryl “Cherry” Stacy; great grandmother, Doris Turner, and great grandfather, Irvin “Boots” Turner.

Andy is survived by his mother, Robin Guthrie; sister, Jessica Murphy; nephew, Mason Murphy; grandfather, Clyde Stacy and wife Louise; uncle, Michael Turner and wife June; father, Larry Overstreet, step brother, Larry “Turtle” Overstreet and wife Destiny; and step sisters, Sally and Shelia Overstreet. A few special people in his life were Jason and Maryann Reynolds, Megan Lynch, and Shane Underwood, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Andy’s sense of humor was contagious. He always had a way of making people laugh, and he was so much fun to be around. He will always be loved and greatly missed by his family and friends.

The family will have a Visitation on Friday, September 5, 2025 from 1:30 – 2:30pm at Simpson Funeral Home (Peters Creek), followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 2:30pm.
