Ann Booth Martin
Ann Booth Martin, 71, of Collinsville, Virginia transitioned to her heavenly home Sunday, September 14, 2025. She was born September 25, 1953, in Danville, Virginia, to the late George Thomas Booth and Doris Bass Booth.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Alvin “Al” Akers Martin.
Ann was a woman of strong faith and served at Mount Vernon United Methodist Church for twenty years as their Financial Secretary. After retirement, she continued to pour into others by working as a teachers aid for several years. She was a graduate of G.W. High School, Class of 1971, and she had a lifelong love for all things equestrian. Ann enjoyed music of all kinds, was artistic, loved shopping, and found joy in learning about her ancestry and piecing together her family heritage as well as the foundation it gave her. She loved her family and friends fiercely. Ann was extremely proud of her grandfather’s legacy and cherished the life she built walking in his shadows. Although for many years she has missed her beloved husband, Al, her heart is now complete in their reunion.
She is survived by her son, Thomas Franklin Martin (Katie); grandchildren, Savanna Wray (Dylan), Gwendolyn Grace Martin (John), Macy Blair Martin, Cooper Mitchell Seay, and Draper Seay Martin; faithful Labradoodle companion, Harper.
