Anna Brooks

She was born May 8, 1957 in Clifton Forge, Virginia to the late Donald Richard Maddy and Alice Haynes Maddy. She was a co-administrator for C&O Employees Hospital Association before retirement in July 2019.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her youngest brother, Stuart Maddy.

She is survived by her husband, Philip Clarence Brooks, Sr., of Clifton Forge; two sons, Justin Brooks and wife, Courtney of Petersburg and Philip Brooks, Jr., and wife, Missy of Sinks Grove, WV; a daughter, Candace Sabol and husband, Sean of Union, WV; four brothers, Timothy Maddy and wife, Lucy of Orange County, Larry Maddy and wife, Marsha of Reidsville, NC, Kerry Maddy and wife, Lyn of Rhoadesville, Va, Kevin Maddy and wife, Leisa of Chester; five grandchildren, Sawyer Brooks, Austin Rollings, Hayden Brooks, Bryce Sabol, Seana Sabol; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 27, 2023 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Pastor Mike Rollins officiating and Bill Waid playing music. Interment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park, Low Moor. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
