Annie Sizemore

Mrs. Annie Hubbard Sizemore, age 92, of Covington, died Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Kenneth Anderson Sizemore. Mrs. Sizemore was born August 19, 1933 in Alleghany County, the daughter of the late Everett Hubbard and Beulah Childress Hubbard. She was a lifetime resident of this community. During her working career, Annie had been employed as a packer by the former Hercules, Inc as well as worked at the former K-Mart for a number of years before retirement. Mrs. Sizemore was a longtime and active member of First Church of the Nazarene. In her spare time, Annie loved to cook for her family and friends as well as being outdoors in nature. Mrs. Sizemore is survived by her sons, Kenneth (Butch) Wade Sizemore and wife, Debra of Covington and Gary Wayne Sizemore and wife, Joan of Covington; nine grandchildren, Jason Raether, Nick Raether, Josh Raether, Chris Anderson, Kasey Anderson, Robert Webb, Angela Hague, Jessica Laviolette and Dakota Sizemore; several great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews including special nieces, Sylvia and Sue. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Sizemore was preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Sizemore Anderson; two brothers, Ed Hubbard and George Hubbard; and her sister, Martha Roalf. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 7, 2026 at First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Sonny Wiseman officiating. Interment will follow in Sizemore Family Cemetery, Low Moor, VA. The family will receive friends on Saturday morning from 11:30 A.M. until time of service at First Church of the Nazarene.
