Ara Burk Gallimore

Ara Burk Gallimore, age 86, of Radford died, Thursday, February 13, 2025. She was born in Montgomery County, Virginia on February 3, 1939, to the late Arthur and Verna Gerald Burk. She was also preceded in death by her sister Nitta Carson; brother Harold Burk; and two infant siblings. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Donald Gallimore; stepdaughter and son-in-law Sue and Earl Cash; stepson and daughter-in-law Donnie and Tammy Gallimore; brothers and sisters-in-law Jube and Bonnie Burk and Jayhugh and Sheryl Burk; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at 2:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Sebert Rorrer and Reverend Jube Burk officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 pm on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, prior to the service.
