Arlis Elmore

Mr. Arlis Monroe Elmore, Jr., age 49, of Covington, died Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at his residence.
Mr. Elmore was born September 8, 1975 in Alleghany County, the son of Leta Lowe Elmore and the late Arlis Monroe Elmore, Sr. A lifetime resident of this area, Arlis was employed as a fork lift operator by Delphi Manufacturing. He was a member of Cliffdale Christian Church.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Elmore is survived by aunts, Diana Bircheat and husband, Mitchell of Northport, AL and Violet McCauley of Gainesville, GA; uncles, Howard Elmore and wife, Rachel of Covington and Alton Elmore; and caregiver, Jeanne Harmon of Covington.
A family organized memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, December 15, 2024, at Cliffdale Christian Church, Upper Rich Patch Road, Covington. Interment will follow at a later date in Humphries Cemetery.
