Arthur Dudley

Arthur Harry Dudley, age 85, of Narrow Passage Road, Eagle Rock, Virginia died Saturday, May 24, 2025 at his residence.

He was born August 6, 1939 in Botetourt County, Virginia to the late Harry Cahoon and Lettie Ann Dudley. He was a retired timber cutter and logger for Dudley Logging. He enjoyed his work and loved to watch NASSCAR.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Newcomb Dudley; a sister, Stella Perry; two brothers, Jr. Dudley and Dicky Dudley; daughters, Charlotte Lawhorn and Linda Dudley; and a baby Dudley.

He is survived by two sons, Andy Newcomb and J.R. Dudley; a brother, Lawrence Dudley all of Eagle Rock; two grandchildren, Paige Newcomb and Logan Dudley; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at 2:00PM in Mount Bethel Cemetery, Route 43, Eagle Rock with Reverend Emily Hook officiating. Interment will immediately follow. Family will receive friends at the cemetery.
