Arthur Florence

Arthur Florence, 64, of Ridgeway, Virginia, passed away Friday, June 30, 2023. He was born June 29, 1959, in Martinsville, to the late James R. Florence and Mary Lou (Strickland) Florence.

In addition to his parents, he is proceeded in death by his brother Isiah Florence.

Arthur loved the Lord, and he enjoyed cooking. He was a family man, and a dedicated employee at KFC for more than five years.

He is survived by his brothers, James Thomas Florence, Phillip George Florence (Betty), Isaac Roy Florence, John Ferdinand Florence (Beverly), and his girlfriend Mary Hylton.

The funeral will be Thursday, July 6, 2023, at 11:30 AM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow at Strickland Family Cemetery. Visitation will be thirty minutes prior to the service.
