Ashley Nicole Hall Priest

Mrs. Ashley Nicole Hall Priest, age 37 of Mount Airy, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice home in Dobson on Tuesday morning August 20, 2024. She was born October 14, 1986, in Forsyth County to Gilmer Louis Hall, Jr. and Karen Slate Hall. She was a wonderful loving person whose smile would light up the room. In addition to her parents, Ashley is survived by her loving husband of 10 years, Matt Priest; two daughters and a son-in-law, Charlette Hall, and Alana and Ben Mooney; a son, Braylon Priest; two grandchildren, Eleanor Mooney and Joey Mooney; brother and sister-in-law, Channing and Davee Hall; niece, Chanley Hall; nephew, Jaedan Lowe; paternal grandparents, Thomas Slate and Joann Synder; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ray and Melanie Priest; sisters-in-law and their families, Amanda Priest, Elizabeth Priest and Brandon Creed and their children, Xaida and Haven Creed, Cathy Hopkins and Anthony Richmond and their children, Daisie Hopkins and Zander Richmond; her special dog, Baby; and many more family and friends. Mrs. Priest was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Gilmer and Bessie Hall. The funeral service will be held on Saturday August 24, 2024, at 11:00am at Genesis Full Gospel Church. Pastor Donnie Hooker, Pastor Ethan Hooker, and Pastor Thomas Slate will be officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday morning from 10:00 – 11:00am at the church. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
