Ashley Spencer Roberts

Ashley Spencer Roberts along with her husband, William Jason Roberts, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 25, 2024. They were preceded in death by her grandparents, Gail Wirt, and Helen and Melvin Spencer; and step father, Rodney Phillips.

Ashley and Jason devoted much of their time to helping veterans in need.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Karmen (Richie), Caiden, Arianah, and Jayce; grandchildren, Holden and Tommy; mother, Tammy Phillips; father, Neil Spencer; grandfather, Bobby Eugene Wirt; brother, Anthony “A.J.” Spencer and his children, Alaina (Malachi) and Malik; uncles, Bobby Wirt (Melanie) and Jamie Wirt (Bonnie); mother-in-law, Dorothy Diaz; and sister-in-law, Stacy.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to Ashley’s mom for the care of the children.

A Celebration of Ashley’s  life will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday June 30, 2024 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road officiated by Pastor Dan Howard. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 3:00-4:00pm. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home.(  540) 366-0707
