Audrey Christine (Brickey) Huffman

Audrey C. Brickey “Sally” Huffman, 83, of Roanoke, VA, went to be with her lord peacefully at her home following a brief illness with her daughter, Cathy; and granddaughter, Nichole, by her side on Thursday, June 1, 2023. “Sally Ann” was born on August 28, 1939, to the late Julia and Otey Brickey. Sally proudly worked at Rowe Furniture in the sewing room for 54 years. “Granny” was a very skilled seamstress and made many items for her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Richard Huffman; son, Terry Fielder; son-in-law, Danny Harth; and brothers, Richard, and Wayne Brickey.

Left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Cathy Fitzgerald, and husband, Michael; grandchildren, Briana Houchins, and Nichole Harth; great-grandchildren, Taylor Clark, Noah Lucas, Kamryn Jones, and Abbi Lucas; sister, Barbara Pollard; and many nieces and nephews and extended family members.

The family would like to thank the MICU and 5th-floor Lewis Gale Medical Center staff for their compassionate care for their beloved Sally.

A celebration of life will be held privately with her family.
