Audrey Dale Byington

Audrey Dale Byington passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024.

He was the son of Walker and Stella Byington of Jonesville, Va. Also preceding him in death was his brother, Alvin Byington; his sister, Barbara Williams; brother-in-law, Kenneth Corbin; and sisters-in-law, Eula Miller and Ruth Buckner.

Dale is survived by his wife of 59 years, Trula Byington; and three sons, Scott Byington (Pam), Chris Byington, and Mark Byington. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Kayla Byington, Matthew Byington (Rachael), and Chase Byington; sisters, Von Corbin of Naples, Fla., and Ernie Gormsen of Denver, Colo.; sister-in-law, Anne McGhee of LaFollette, Tenn.; and brothers-in-law, Jess Longmire and David Longmire (Robyn) of LaFollette, Tenn. Dale also leaves behind several special nieces and nephews, as well as many friends.

A visitation with the family will be held on Monday, November 25, 2024, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel in Salem. A Celebration of Life service will immediately follow at 6 p.m.
