Audrey Faye Penn

Audry Faye Turner Penn, 77, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2024. She was born March 24, 1947, to Marie Koger Turner and the late Charles E. Turner, Sr.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Gwendolyn Turner Reid; and brother, Charles Turner, Jr.Audrey was a member of Mt. Olive East Christian Church. She attended G.W. Carver and graduated from American School. After graduation, Audrey went on to Rockingham Community College and obtained a degree in Fashion Design. She worked at Dupont for nearly 27 years as a spinning machine operator.She is survived by her husband, Mack Alfred Penn; daughters, Tia Penn Stone (Nachor) and Rosita Penn Williams (Randy); son, Alfred Ceron Penn (Stephanie); brother, Alonzo Turner (Shelia); and three grandchildren, Patrice Williams, Randolph “Tre” Williams, and Jasmine Williams.The funeral will be Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Mayo Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Dr. Kenneth Davis officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Carver Memorial Gardens. A floating visitation will be held Friday, October 18, 2024, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service.Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
