Ruby Zelma Turner Gusler

Ruby Zelma Turner Gusler, 86, of Collinsville, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022.  She was born in Ferrum on August 31, 1935 to the late Robert Turner and the late Mildred Virginia Gillispe Turner Rakes.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years, Wallace Lester Gusler; sons, Ronald Gusler and Wallace Gusler, Jr; granddaughter, Ruby Gusler; brother, Larry Turner; step-father, Harbour Rakes.
Ruby is survived by a son, Robert Gusler (Brandi) of Martinsville; grandson, David Gusler (Cindy) of Christiansburg; great-granddaughter, Caroline Gusler; half-brothers, Jimmy Rakes and H.D. Rakes; sister, Alberta Brown; half-sister, Betty Wray; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 27, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM in Bassett Funeral Service Chapel where a funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM with Don Reynolds officiating.  Burial will follow at Maple Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in Ferrum.
