Wallace Lester Gusler

Wallace Lester Gusler, 90, of Collinsville, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022.  He was born in Ferrum on September 3, 1931 to the late McKinley Gusler and the late Nellie Sigmon Gusler.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 68 years, Ruby Zelma Turner Gusler; sons, Ronald Gusler and Wallace Gusler, Jr; granddaughter, Ruby Gusler; brothers, Owen Gusler and Nick Gusler; sisters, Ella Carter Nash, Linda Spicer, Christine Ingram and Hattie Quesenberry.
Ruby is survived by a son, Robert Gusler (Brandi) of Martinsville; grandson, David Gusler (Cindy) of Christiansburg; great-granddaughter, Caroline Gusler; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 27, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM in Bassett Funeral Service Chapel where a funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM with Don Reynolds officiating.  Burial will follow at Maple Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in Ferrum.
