Claude Ronald Goode

Claude Ronald Goode, 86, of Elliston, passed away, Monday, August 19, 2019. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kim Suzanne Reid; brother, James Goode, Jr.; sisters, Gladys and Mildred. He was a retired truck driver and a longtime member of the Masons.
 Claude is survived by son, Ronald Dean Goode; daughter, Leslee Waid; sister, Rowena Wineberger; brothers, William Goode, Lewis Goode, Thomas Goode, David Goode, Donnie Goode; former wife, Bette Gay; as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Friday, August 23, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Simpson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John Collins officiating. Interment will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 22, 2019 from 4-8 p.m. at Simpson Funeral Home. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home. (540)366-0707.
