Judy George Woolridge

Judy George Woolridge, 57, of Bassett passed away May 24, 2022 at Sovah Hospital in Martinsville. She was born on March 21, 1965 in Martinsville to Zelma Barbour George and the late Billy James George of Bassett. Judy was also preceded in death by her brother Mike George, sister Pat George and father-in-law; Bill Woolridge, Sr. She was a member of New Life Baptist Church and had an associate’s degree in medical billing and coding.

Judy is survived by her loving husband Charles J. Woolridge; daughter Alicia Cornett, two sons; Matthew Woolridge and Hunter Woolridge, six grandchildren; Christian, Halie, Chloe, Daniel, Grayson and Nathan; mother Zelma George, brother Larry George, sister-in-law Mary George, mother-in-law Agnes Woolridge, brother-in-law Bill Woolridge, Jr, sister-in-law Heather Woolridge, sister-in-law Angie Duncan, brother-in-law Steve Duncan, numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved fur baby Smokey. The visitation will be Thursday, May 26 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Bassett Funeral Service. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, May 27 at 1:00 p.m. at Bassett Funeral Service with Pastor Doug Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow in Henry Memorial Park.
