Lillian Scales Ayers Wilson

Lillian Scales Ayers Wilson, 95 of Spencer, Virginia passed away May 24, 2022 at SOVAH Martinsville Hospital. She was born in West Virginia to the late J.B. and Ella Turner Scales on July 6, 1926. She was a member of Antioch Christian Church. She loved raising chickens, gardening and her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Joseph A. Scales, Sr., Jesse L. Scales, Sr., David Scales, Albert J. Scales and Clyde E. Scales; and grandchild, Miracle Thomas.

She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Marie Thomas; and brothers, Oscar A. Scales, Sr., Carl L. Scales, Sr., Kenneth Scales, Sr. and James T. Scales, Sr.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
