James Wayne Stanley

JAMES WAYNE STANLEY, 76, of Bland, VA, passed away Monday, May 30, 2022 at his home. He was born July 30, 1945 in Raleigh County, West Virginia, the son of the late Joseph & Verna Stanley.
Jim graduated from Concord College. He retired from the state of Florida and the state of Virginia where he served as an IT Administrator. He was a veteran of the United States Navy where he served during the Vietnam Conflict. He loved racing, especially Kevin Harvick and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Joseph & Verna Burnette Stanley.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Stella Allen Stanley; his children, Susan & Paul Zahorchak, R.J. Stanley, Sammy & Dianna Blankenship, April & Bob Hylton and Keri & Petey Rankin; and his brother & sister-in-law, Bob & Helen Stanley.
Per Jim’s wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no services.
