Mollie Prillaman Dalton

Mollie Prillaman Dalton, age 79 of Bassett, VA, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Fork Mountain Rest Home.
Mollie was born on July 20, 1942 in Franklin County, VA to John Marshall Prillaman and Nannie Clark Prillaman Woods. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Ezra Dalton, one sister, Lucy Prillaman Rakes and one brother, John Junior Prillaman.
She was employed by Dupont for twenty eight years. She was a member of New Covenant Fellowship where she served as Secretary and was a Sunday School teacher. She loved to read and was friends to many children.
Mollie is survived by one sister, Lolene Prillaman Moore (Malcolm), one brother, David Wayne Prillaman (Patsy), one sister-in-law, Nadine Prillaman, numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Collins Funeral Home, 30 Riverside Hwy, Bassett, VA with a funeral service following at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park.
