Virginia Marie Conner Rodriguez

Virginia Marie Conner Rodriguez, 74, of Ridgeway, Virginia, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2022, at SOVAH Health of Martinsville. She was born June 1, 1948, in Woolwine, Virginia, to the late Murray Conner and Mable Wade Conner.

Virginia attended Antioch Christian Church and loved being in Sunday School. She was a dedicated employee of American Furniture for 35 years. She enjoyed watching westerns, loved her dog, Nacho, and loved her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Melvin Edward Conner; sisters, Betty Conner and Elsie Lamb; and brother, William Ed Conner.

She is survived by her nephews, William Conner (Elizabeth) and James Menefee (Jacqueline); niece, Carolyn Conner; and a host of other nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Saturday June 11, 2022, at 1:30 PM, at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Junior Wimbush officiating. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to the service.
