Joyce Rickman Porter, 65, of Bedford, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2022. She was born in Bedford, VA on December 17, 1956 a daughter of the late Floyd Rickman and Hallie Goff Brevo. She is survived by her husband, Joseph William Porter; children, Steve Porter (Amy), Cindy Mayhew (Scotty), Mark Porter, Sheila Feagans (Kevin), Katherine Allen (James), Eric Rickman (Bonita); fourteen grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., on Friday, June 10, 2022 at Burch-Messier Walnut Street Chapel, 1235 Walnut Street, Bedford with a graveside service immediately following the visitation in Peaks Community Church Cemetery.
