Donyae E. Cooper, 56, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord Sunday, August 25, 2019. She was preceded in death by her father, Gary E. Cooper; step/father, LeRoy Yoakam; and grandmother, Ruth Etue.
Surviving are, mother, Mary Ann Yoakam; sisters, Anna Maria Cooper, Kathryn Cooper (Larry) Cuddy; brother, Gary (Waurayn) Cooper; partner, Steven Cuddy; nieces, Tatiana and Makayla Cooper; nephew, Joshua Cuddy; and great niece, Maliyah Cooper.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, August 30, 2019 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Simpson Funeral Home. 366-0707
