Betty O. Harrison

Betty O. Harrison, of Salem, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022.  A beautiful life that came to an end.  She died as she lived, hopefully everyone’s friend.  Betty was preceded in death by her loving parents, William and Elizabeth Orrell; sisters and brothers-in-law, Edith and Fritz Smith, Louie and Fred Thompson; her beloved husband of 51 years, William (Jack) Harrison.
Betty is survived by her, nephew, Carl Smith; niece, Julie Smith; great nephews, Neil Smith, Gary Smith; niece, Kerry Smith; sister-in-law, Peggy Nimmo; brother-in-law, Jimmy Clark; many other nieces and nephews; friends, Helen, of England; Shannon, of Salem, Bonnie, of Roanoke.
The family will receive friends, Sunday, June 19, 2022 from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorial service will follow visitation at 7 p.m. at Lotz Funeral Home Salem.
Burial will be on Monday, June 20, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in Mountain View Cemetery in Vinton.
