Jerry Cornett Jarrett

Jerry Cornett Jarrett, 74, of Ridgeway, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at Atrium Health-Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. He was born in Martinsville on August 5, 1947, to the late Walter Cornett Jarrett and the late Kathleen Clark Reynolds. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Wayne Reynolds.

Jerry is survived by sons, Kevin Jarrett (Whitney) of Ridgeway and Pete Anderson (Jeri) of Grand Forks, ND; grandchildren, Savannah Wilson and Madison Wilson both of Summerfield, NC, Alyssa Anderson of GA, Emma Anderson, Ellie Anderson and William Anderson all of Grand forks, ND; brother, Robert A. Jarrett (Pat) of Graham, NC; sister, Barbara “Babs” Priddy of Bassett; stepmother, Margaret Jarrett of Bassett; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friend.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 21, 2022, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM in Bassett Funeral Service Chapel, where a funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor Allen Dean officiating. Burial will follow at Roselwan Burial Park in Martinsville.
