Gloria Faye Long

It is with great sadness that we announce on November 8, 2022 Gloria Faye Long of McCoy, VA, went to be with the lord. Gloria was born on June 15,1962 in Montgomery County, VA, to the late Floyd Olen Shealor and Etta Faye Smith. Gloria was a breast cancer survivor, she worked as a CNA because she enjoyed helping people.She also enjoyed camping, spoiling her grandkids and collecting anything to do with frogs.Gloria is proceeded in death by her son"s Adam Lee Long and Thomas Allen Long and her beloved dachshund Gracie Mae.
Gloria is survived by her husband of 42 year's Clayton Edward Long Sr. of McCoy, VA, and children Charity and Jeremy Cumbee Sr. of Radford, Clayton Edward Long Jr. of Christiansburg, Jonathan and Rebecca Long of McCoy and April Long and Chuck Olinger of Blacksburg. Gloria is also survived by grandchildren Ashley Cumbee, Christopher Cumbee, Britney Cumbee, Austin Burrell, Kali Long, Kaelyn Long, Rose Griffith and Bethany Griffith. Great grandchildren Logan Renee Hope Graham and Parker Joy Graham and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held on November 19, 2022 from 12:00 - 3:00pm at Shiloh Lutheran Church located at 5218 Long Shop Road Blacksburg, VA. 24060.
