Genie Lynn "Rosey" Rosenow

Genie Lynn “Rosey” Hall Rosenow, 74, of Spout Spring, passed away on June 29, 2022, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Michael George Rosenow, Sr.
Born on June 26, 1948, in Guernsey, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Ildreth Nagel Hall and Howard Hall. For 32 years, she worked in the Appomattox County School System, a job she loved and was an avid Appomattox Raiders Fan.
She is survived by three daughters, Mary Watson and husband, William of Appomattox, Jennifer Kingston and husband, Donald of Chesapeake, and Jammie Ferguson of Appomattox; ten grandchildren, Bill (Christine), Mandi (Eddie), Dustin, Anakin, Selena, Kimberly, Michael, Christopher (Alexus), Dylan, and Wilson; and 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Rick Hall; sister, Resa Kachik; sister-in-law, Theresa Hall; and many friends in the Appomattox Community.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Marty Hall.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am, Saturday, July 2, 2022, at Robinson Funeral Home with Coach Doug Smith officiating. Burial will follow at 12 pm, at Reedy Spring Baptist Church Cemetery, 1315 Reedy Spring Rd, Spout Spring, VA 24593.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 1, from 6-8 pm at Robinson Funeral Home.
