Bob Robert O'Neal

Bob Robert O’Neal, age 61 of Hartford, CT and formerly of Franklin County, entered into God’s Kingdom on Friday, June 3, 2022. Bob was born on September 29, 1960 in Brooklyn, NY to Isiah and his mom (Alvia O’Neal) whom preceded him in death. Bob grew up in Franklin County where he attented public schools and lived with his grandmother, Mrs. Annie Mae Spencer whom he loved dearly. Later on in his life, he moved to Hartford, CT. Bob accomplished so much in life. His passion was living for the Lord. He loved playing the organ and musical instruments for their churches and events. Bob’s favorite song to play was “Lean On Me.” He was also a big fan of the New England Patriots. Bob leaves to cherish his precious memories, brother, Isiah O’Neal of Salem, VA; sisters, Joyce Ann O’Neal of Washington, DC, Joy Wimbush of Rocky Mount, VA, Reva Hoback of Capitol Heights, MD, and Elaine O’Neal Wright of Rocky Mount, VA; his lifetime devoted companion, Darlene Trapp of Hartford, CT; best friend for his whole life, Chuck Edward of Glade Hill, VA. Bob will be truly missed. A graveside service will be held at the Edwards Family Cemetery (Union Hall, VA) 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2022. The family will recieve friends 30 minutes prior at the grave. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
