Donald Lee "Red" Foster

Donald Lee Foster (Red), age 86, of Wirtz, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at home. He was pre-deceased by his brother, Bill Foster (Nancy). Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Ruby Lumsden Foster, children; Michael Foster (Sharon), Ricky Foster (Gay), Timothy Foster, grandchildren; Sumer Tucker (Geoffrey), Ashley Foster, brother; Glen Foster (Loretta), sister; Mary McBride (Allen), special sister-in-law; Carolyn Lumsden, special friend; Earl Young. Special thanks to home health (Hallston Wright), Hospice (Candy Holland), VA Medical Center (Mandy Price) and many Physicians including Dr. John Boone. Funeral services will be held at Sandy Ridge Baptist Church, 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2022, with Rev. Joe Dillon officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. His family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
