Thomas "Tommy" Douglas Turner, II

Thomas “Tommy” Douglas Turner, II, 60, of Martinsville, Virginia passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born August 8, 1961, in Virginia to the late Thomas Douglas Turner, Sr. and Barbara Rachel Prater Turner. He worked for AAA Recovery. He loved his job, children, grandchildren and his dog, Princesss. He came across as a tough guy, but had a huge heart for the people that knew and loved him.

He is survived by his fiancée, Sandra Ellis; son, Damien Craig; stepchildren, Jessica Hayzlett, Melissa Ellis, Christopher and Cory; grandchildren, Kaleigh Hayzlett, Ashlynn Hayzlett, Kennadie Dearing, Lexi Hayzlett and Maddie Hayzlett; uncles, Billy and Joe Turner; and countless nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral will be held on Monday, July 11, 2022, at 6:00 P. M. at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with J. T. Clark officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private.
