I believe well, she worked at Ferrum Elementary Cafeteria and granted no child was ever left hungry, regardless. She was the best Assistant Coach to my Dad for all the years he was involved in coaching children’s baseball. She love her dad’s and brother’s bluegrass music, dancing and listening to it. She also loved her Savior Jesus and lived to his work, teaching and values. Jean will be missed tremendously by all, her happy smile and warm touch. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Monday with Dr. J.D. Harmon officiating. Interment will follow in the Cooper Family Cemetery. Mamma loved her flowers but request that in lieu of flowers please make a donation to Franklin County Baseball, Inc., P.O. Box 995, Rocky Mount, Virginia 24151.
