Elaine Moyer Bueter

Elaine Moyer Bueter, 68, of Bassett, Virginia passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at SOVAH- Martinsville. Elaine was born December 13, 1953 to the late Roy Ivan and Dorothy Spahr Moyer in Burks County, Pennsylvania. She was married to the late David John Bueter. She was a lab tech for over 30 years. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, socializing, and entertaining. Elaine never met a stranger and was the center of attention. Elaine loved spending time with family and friends and genuinely loved life. She could be described as a “Ball of Fire.”

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her late husband, David John Bueter.

Elaine is survived by her daughter, Holly Gehman (Lyndi); sons, Michael Bueter and Justin Gehman (Brad); sisters, Diane Long, Vonnie Weaver, and Jean Wolf; brothers, Ernie Moyer and Dennis Moyer; grandchild, Karleigh Hedgecock; and a host of step- sisters, step-brothers, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 1:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Service Chapel.
