Edith Lowanda Miles Cole

Edith L. Miles Cole, 70, of Collinsville, Virginia passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at her home. She was born June 23, 1952, in Covington, Tennessee to the late Joseph H. Miles and Nannie Sue Jackson Miles. She was a caregiver for over eighteen years. She loved to watch television, gardening, dogs and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Tony Conti; five sisters; and two brothers.

She is survived by her husband, David Packett; daughters, Serina Cole and Edith Rafferty; son, Porter Jacob Cole III; sister, Peggy Hopkins; grandchildren, Miranda Mabe, Larry Mabe and Brandi Lankford; and great grandchildren, Peyton Dellinger, Landon Dellinger, Weston Mabe and Audrey Mabe.

A funeral will be held on Sunday, July 17, 2022, at 1:00 P. M. at Second Chance Church, 449 Bear Creek Church Road, Dobson, North Carolina 27017, with Pastor Kevin Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
