Linda Coleman Deskins

Linda Coleman Deskins, age 56, of Stuart, Virginia, passed away Friday, July 15, 2022, at Atrium Health, Charlotte, NC. She was born January 18, 1966, in Martinsville, Virginia to the late Jimmy and Sunshine Rogers Coleman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Coleman, sister Patricia Webb, and a brother, Wayne Coleman.

Linda attended Clearview Gospel Mission Church. She was a caregiver for over 20 years and loved spending time with family and friends, shopping, watching television, and pampering herself with a manicure and pedicure.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Deskins; daughter, Christina Lester (Brandon); son, Sammy Coleman; stepson, David Deskins (Hootie); sisters, Tammy Coleman, and Deborah Gallegos; brother Ricky Coleman; grandchildren, Kimberly Shelton (Zachary), Amber Alverson, Brittany Alverson, Chance Coleman, Lily Coleman, Sunny Coleman, and Brandon McClenden, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Sophia Shelton, Mayson Shelton, and Grayson Shelton; her best friend Michelle Bingham and a host of nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel, the funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM with Pastor Susan Adkins officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Burial Park.
