Renae Eanes Smith, 54, of Martinsville, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022, in Sovah Health-Martinsville. She was born in Martinsville on January 2, 1968, to the late Wayne Eanes and Betty Ann Merriman Eanes. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Earl & Bailey Eanes and maternal grandparents, Colonel & Pearl Merriman.
In addition to her mother, Renae is survived by a brother, Lonnie Eanes; ex-husband and friend, Tony Smith; uncles, Benny Merriman (Beatrice) and Ray Merriman; aunts, Kay Ratcliff (Eddie) and Frances Merriman; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
