Pharis Taylor Hairston

Pharis Taylor Hairston, 71, of Martinsville, VA transitioned on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at his home. He was born October 29, 1950 a son of the late Price and Goldie Stockton Hairston. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jones Hairston, nine brothers and eight sisters.
He was retired from Hooker Furniture and was a member of Jerusalem Christian Church.
Those left to cherish his memory include three sons, Anthony, Nicholas and Keith Hairston all of Martinsville, VA; two sisters, Janice (James) Morrison, and Rosie (Nathan) Morrison, both of Martinsville, VA; one brother, William (Tina) Morrison of Martinsville, VA and 1 grandchild.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 21, 2022 at 12:00 Noon at Stoney Mountain Primitive Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Robert Smith, officiating. Public viewing will be held Wednesday, July 20, 2022 from 1:00 to 5:00 at Hines Funeral Services with the family being present from 4:00 to 5:00 PM.
In accordance with CDC guidelines facial coverings and social distancing is required.
