Denver Earl McCallister, Jr., 54, of Bassett, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022, at his home. He was born in Martinsville on December 17, 1967, to the late Denver Earl McCallister, Sr. and Shirlene Cassell McCallister. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Sue Mize Shifflett and several aunts and uncles.
In addition to his mother, Denver is survived by 3 nephews, Daniel Shifflett, Josh Shifflett and Mathew Shifflett; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at 2:00 PM with Pastor David Bishop officiating in the Cassell Family Cemetery on Egg Farm Road in Patrick Springs.
