Henry H. Ballard

Henry H. Ballard 95, of Fieldale he went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 18, 2022 at his home.  Henry was born in Rockingham Co, North Carolina on September 4, 1926 the son of the late Charles Henry Ballard and the late Mary Deitz Davis Ballard. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife Doreathea Ballard, son Jim H. Ballard,  sisters Eva Reynolds, Myrtle Shumate, Violet Stegall, Gertrude Hopkins, Ruth Foley and Alma Shatzar, brothers Dewey Ballard, Ralph Ballard and Wayne Ballard . Henry was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and was a Sunday School teacher and was in the Army during World War II .
Surviving is his daughter and son – in -law; Rachel Brooks (Roger), daughter in law; Gale F. Ballard grandchildren; Robin (Roy) Sawyers, Tiffany Ballard, Kristie Brooks, three great grandchildren, Austin Crawford, Alicia Gusler and Rachael Potter and one great great grandchild, Mason Lee Gusler, sister – in- law Elsie Haynes and brother in - law Druie Martin. 
Visitation will be Friday, July 22 from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church with funeral services to follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Chris Atkinson officiating burial will follow in the Rosleawn Burial Park with military honors conducted by the Martinsville and Henry Co Veterans Honor Guard.
